Real Magic
September 30, 2009 on 10:14 pm | In Business Motivations | 1 CommentWhen disaster strikes, there are no magic words that will make everything all right. For if there were, life would necessarily have to be unbearably empty and shallow in order to accommodate them.
What there is, is the opportunity and the obligation to love as you never have before. What there is, is the stimulus to take life to a higher level.
In your moments of most profound challenge, you are left with only what truly matters. That is a powerful place to be.
When you are forced to experience life at its worst, it compels you to be your best. You must call upon a level of strength you never before knew was there and then you begin to work through it. As you choose to move forward, life takes on a greater more profound meaning.
Choose to love, and choose to live. That is what you can do, and that is where the real magic will happen.

Outside The Walls
September 21, 2009 on 9:14 pm | In Business Motivations | 1 CommentYou are capable of many wonderful things that you do not even know about. Decide to start discovering some of them.
Outside the walls of your imagined limitations, there is a whole world waiting to be experienced. Allow yourself to venture into it.
There is so very much you can do when you stop being so consumed with what you can’t do. There are so many opportunities and possibilities to explore when you stop worrying about your shortcomings and disappointments.
Let go of the small, limiting thoughts that revolve only around your ego. Make room for the big, expansive thoughts that enable you to experience life’s magnificent abundance.
There is so very much you can do, so very much you can be, so very much you can give. Choose to open yourself to the wealth of possibilities.
Step outside the walls of your old assumptions, and take life to a whole new level.
The Reward Is In Who You Become
September 14, 2009 on 10:25 pm | In Business Motivations | 1 CommentAnything worth accomplishing is going to take some long, difficult and sustained effort to reach. Yet even though the goal may be a long way off, the benefits of working toward that goal begin to be yours immediately. For the value of accomplishment is in the accomplishing.
The reward is not so much in what you obtain, as in the person you become in the process of obtaining it.
No matter how difficult the journey may be, it makes all the difference in the world when that journey is leading to a destination you have chosen. By setting your sights upon where you intend to be and by committing yourself to following that path, you immediately add value to life.
The commitment, the discipline, the focus and the effort are indeed their own rewards. And they begin to be yours the moment you decide to begin.
Though at first you may wish you could reach the goal without having to work your way past the challenges, you’ll soon realize that such a thing would be worthless. For it is precisely the value you put into any accomplishment that gives it value to you.
Make the most of every opportunity to give your best effort to life, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by real lasting value.
Expectations
September 7, 2009 on 11:21 pm | In Business Motivations | 2 CommentsYour expectations will certainly influence the results you get, so it pays to expect the very best. What’s to be done though, when in spite of your best efforts the reality of life does not meet your expectations? Simply adjust to that reality, make the most of what is available to you, and continue forward with even higher expectations. There’s no sense in becoming disillusioned, for that will not bring you anything of value.
Is it foolishly naive to expect the best when the experience of life has often let you down? Not at all, for with each disappointment you learn to fine-tune your approach so that your positive expectations become more attainable than ever.
When you expect something of real meaningful value from life, you will eventually get it though often not in the way you first thought you would. What may at the time seem to be a disappointment could very likely turn out to be a necessary and positive step forward.
Life is filled with surprises. Even the surprises that look as if they’re defying your expectations could actually end up strengthening your position.
Through it all, continue to expect the best. The more fully and sincerely you do so, the more you’ll have every twist and turn of events working in your favor.
